IGET One vs IGET Bar Pro: How to Choose Between the Two

Published by the IGetYourVape team

Adults only. This guide is written for Australians aged 18 or over. It makes no health claims and gives no health advice, and it is not meant to nudge anyone who does not already vape.

People usually arrive at IGetYourVape with a flavour in mind and leave with a device decision they did not expect. The shop is built around two IGET disposables, the One and the Bar Pro, and they are close enough that choosing between them feels harder than it should. This guide sets out what differs, what does not, and a short routine for settling it. We are an independent retailer with no tie to IGET. The brand name is simply how we describe what we sell, and the figures below are the ones on our product pages.

What the two have in common

Start with the things you do not have to think about, because that list is longer than the list of differences. Both devices are sealed disposables. Neither has a charging port, neither can be refilled, and when the run is over the device is finished. Each is a single piece, so there is no pod to swap and no cable to hunt for.

That removes a whole category of worry. You are not weighing a rechargeable against a throwaway, or a pod system against a sealed unit. The question is narrower: how long a run you want, and which flavour names you want to choose from.

What actually differs

IGET One IGET Bar Pro
Puff rating 12,000 10,000
Battery 2700mAh 2000mAh
Charging None, sealed None, sealed
Flavours listed 23 31

Only three numbers move: the puff rating, the battery and the length of the flavour list. The longer run comes with the shorter list, and the shorter run comes with the longer list. You can browse each range on its own page, the IGET One range and the IGET Bar Pro range.

Run length: what the extra 2,000 puffs buy

The One's rating is a fifth higher than the Bar Pro's. Whether that matters depends on how quickly you get through a device, so here is the same gap measured against three illustrative habits:

Puffs a day Bar Pro (10,000) One (12,000) Extra days on the One
125 80 days 96 days 16
250 40 days 48 days 8
400 25 days 30 days 5

Treat those as shapes and not forecasts. A puff rating comes from the maker's own testing under set conditions, and real use rarely lands exactly on it. What the table does show is that the gap is a matter of days, or a couple of weeks at a light habit. It is real, and it is not dramatic. A buyer who is happy to finish one device and reorder will barely notice it.

Battery: a spec to read, not a reason to pick

The One carries 2700mAh to the Bar Pro's 2000mAh, a little over a third more. It is tempting to read that as a quality gap, but the better reading is that each battery is sized for its device's rating. In a sealed unit with no port, the battery is simply part of the budget for the run, and the One has the larger cell because it is built for the longer one. Since neither device can be charged, battery size changes nothing about how you use it. That is why it sits on our pages as a fact and not as a selling point.

Flavours: where most orders are really decided

This part settles more orders than anything else. The One lists 23 names and the Bar Pro lists 31. Twelve of those titles are identical on both lists, which leaves eleven that exist only on the One and nineteen that exist only on the Bar Pro. So the first question is rarely "which device?" It is "which device carries this flavour?"

  • One only: names such as Mixed Berries Ice, Mountain Spring Mint Ice and Strawberry Pomegranate Ice. If one of these is what you want, the choice is already made, and the One's Mixed Berries Ice page is the place to start.
  • Bar Pro only: names such as Mango Ice, Peach Ice and Strawberry Lychee. The same logic runs the other way, and the Bar Pro's Mango Ice page shows what a Bar Pro-only listing looks like.
  • Both: twelve titles, among them Strawberry Watermelon Ice and Black Forest. We set all twelve out in a companion guide to the names that sit on both devices.

Be careful with near-matches. A name that looks like another is not necessarily the same listing. The One's Raspberry Grape Ice and the Bar Pro's Raspberry Grape share most of their words, yet they are two separate entries, so check the exact title before you order.

Three questions that settle it

Work through these in order and stop as soon as one gives you an answer.

  1. Is the flavour on only one device? Then buy that device. Nothing else needs weighing.
  2. Is it on both? Then you are choosing between a longer run on the One and a shorter run on the Bar Pro. Cost per puff comes out much the same either way, so neither device is the clever way to save. What you are really picking is how long one flavour stays with you.
  3. Is the name new to you? Then lean towards the Bar Pro. A name you are guessing at is easier to live with across 10,000 puffs than across 12,000, and if it suits you, the same title may be waiting on the One for next time.

A note on reading the names

Everything we say about a flavour comes from its name. Where a name lists its ingredients, a short note on the product page says what those ingredients suggest, and where Ice closes a name we say it marks an iced version. Where a name gives us nothing to work from, Blue Monster being the One's example, we write no description at all. That keeps the pages honest, and it means this comparison is about devices and lists, not about how anything tastes.

The short version

Both devices are sealed, both are disposable, and neither charges. The One runs about a fifth longer on a bigger battery with a smaller list, while the Bar Pro runs shorter with a bigger list. Start from the flavour you want, check which device carries it, and only then think about run length. If both carry it, take the One for the longer stretch, or the Bar Pro when a name is untried.
